Strawberry Milk

— Chef's Note —

"I got hit too, but I’m fine! It’s all because I drink this everyday." - Gintoki

I never liked commercial strawberry milk growing up, but for some reason I don't mind the homemade version. It's healthier when it's fresh, and drinking it feels a bit like being a kid again (sort of like banana brickle). No wonder it gives the protagonist strength! Must be the calcium...

If you've got a sweet tooth, you may want to try strawberry milk mixed with anko (sweet red beans), just like Gintoki. Of course, you may prefer just enjoying the milk with anpan, instead.

Interestingly, strawberry milk was also sought after by another hero in a "Got Milk" commercial. Blossom Powerpuff saved the day while saying "Hand over the strawberry, shortcake!"
