Although delicious as is, you may also add nuts, cranberries, oats, or other varieties of chocolate chips to this recipe. Simply mix in the desired ingredients during step 4.

How to Make White Chocolate Chip Cookies

— Ingredients —

butter
3/8 cup butter
(unsalted)
white sugar
3/8 cup white sugar
brown sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
egg
1 egg
vanilla
1 tbsp vanilla
flour
1.5 cups flour
salt
1/2 tsp salt
baking soda
1/2 tsp baking soda
white chocolate chips
6 oz. white chocolate chips

— Instructions —

  1. Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten egg and vanilla.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking soda.
  3. Gradually combine into one mixture.
  4. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  5. Drop cookie dough in spoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
  6. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C). While the oven is preheating, refrigerate the cookie sheets.
  7. When oven is ready, bake until just browned (about 10 minutes).
  8. Use a spatula to immediately transfer cookies to a cooling rack.
